Commissioned by ProPublica for the lead image of the article, “Inside the Lives of Immigrant Teens Working Dangerous Night Shifts in Suburban Factories.” Written by Melissa Sanchez, this article captures the concerning reality of undocumented children working in Chicago suburban factories.

The design was carved by hand and printed with traditional oil based printmaking ink onto 100% cotton, acid free paper. Each piece will be titled, signed and labeled as an edition of 30.

Each print is produced using a manual printing press, therefore, each print will be unique and may differ slightly from the pictured original. This is the beauty of linoleum block printing.
